Planet Fitness member arrested for reportedly walking around ‘completely naked’ inside women’s locker room with minor present

A man was arrested on suspicion of stripping naked in the women’s locker room at a Planet Fitness gym in North Carolina and refusing to leave, even though a child was likely present.

Christopher Alan Miller, a 38-year-old man with a beard, said last Thursday. reportedly It caused quite a stir at the Planet Fitness in Gastonia, North Carolina, a city of 80,000 people about 30 minutes west of Charlotte. A woman who was in the women’s locker room called 911 and reported that Miller was “walking around showing his penis and wouldn’t come out.”

She likewise told the dispatcher that the man claimed to be transgender. She is “a man, but he says he identifies as a woman.” She also reiterated that Mr. Miller was “completely naked” with “literally nothing on.”

other report Miller also harassed the woman, suggesting he asked her to shower with him and begged her to rub lotion on him. It’s unclear whether she is the same woman who called 911.

In any event, Miller was arrested and booked into the Gaston County Jail. Prison records list his gender as “male.”

Mr. Miller is charged with one felony count of indecent assault.in north carolina, lewd acts are usually misdemeanors, but there is one notable exception. That is, if it occurs “in the presence of another person under the age of 16.” In other words, there was likely a young girl in the locker room at the time of Miller’s alleged exposure.

He remains in custody on $25,000 bail.

Betty Brice, another Planet Fitness member, said she doesn’t want men to share the gym’s women’s restrooms or locker rooms. “I think women should be able to go into the women’s restroom without the man coming in and saying he’s transgender,” she said.

Bryce may consider changing gyms because Planet Fitness has a policy of allowing members to use facilities (including bathrooms and showers) according to their “self-declared gender identity.” . The policy has already resulted in the disqualification of an Alaska woman who reported a man shaving her hair in the women’s room at Planet Fitness last month.

The global company could also have lost hundreds of millions of dollars in stock value. Blaze News previously reported that Planet Fitness’ stock price fell $400 million in just one week, or 13.59% in one month, after the Alaska incident made headlines.

A spokesperson for the Gastonia location told WSOC-TV that employees at the location took immediate action to ensure the safety of other members and continue to work with law enforcement. A spokesperson said the location has a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment.
