Jerry Turner and Teresa Nist are calling for it to stop.
The former “Golden Bachelor” couple appeared in a joint interview on “Good Morning America” on Friday and shared the news that they are divorcing just a few months after getting married in January.
As Turner explained, “Teresa and I had many heart-to-heart conversations, carefully considered our circumstances, living situations, etc., and mutually came to certain conclusions.” I think the time has come to eliminate it. ”

Nist added, “We have received so much love and support from so many people who have watched ‘The Golden Bachelor,’ and how many people have expressed their gratitude to us for this film. “I don’t know if you told me it gave you great hope. “The Golden Bachelor” is the new installment of the “Bachelor” series, which focuses on elderly people finding love, and premiered last September. The season lasted 10 episodes, during which viewers watched Turner fall in love with Nist.
He proposed to her in the season finale and they married in a televised wedding in January.
Mr Nist admitted it was a “plan” to make the marriage work, but the distance between the families made things difficult.

“What struck me most about our conversation was how dedicated we both are to our families,” Nist said. “So I think we look at these situations and feel that for our mutual well-being, it’s best for us to live apart.”
Turner is based in Indiana, while Nist lives and works in New Jersey. Earlier this month, TMZ and others reported that Turner and Nist were living in separate homes even after their marriage.
The couple originally planned to move here. Charleston, South Carolina. Turner said she had always wanted to live in the city, and Nist has children who live in the area, but those plans ultimately fell through.

“We looked at a house in South Carolina, we looked at a house in New Jersey, we looked at houses after houses, but we just couldn’t make a decision,” Nist explained on “Good Morning America.”
The pair also revealed that falling in love was not the issue, with Turner saying: “I still love this person. There’s no doubt in my mind that I still love her.” I love her. I support her.” every day. “
