Maryland State Police on Friday released photos of a suspect and car wanted in connection with last week’s broad daylight murder of a trash collector.
Idongesit Udosen, 30, was shot and killed in the 6800 block of Greenvale Parkway in Hyattsville around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, according to Prince George’s County Police.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of shots fired and found Udsen “in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds,” the department said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police on Friday released photos of the suspects, who have not yet been identified, and video of the car they used to kill Udosen.
Police said the vehicle, believed to be a gray Kia sedan, was also seen driving near Greenvale Parkway before the shooting. Before the video ends, the driver retreats into a clearing on the street in front of the parked van, next to three garbage cans.

When Udosen arrived at the scene in a garbage truck, two suspects got out of the vehicle, fired shots at Udosen, and fled the scene.
The motive is still being determined, but detectives do not believe the shooting was random.
