Jesse Palmer sent his love to “two beautiful souls” after learning the recent “Golden Bachelor” contestants were divorcing just three months after their wedding.
Jerry Turner and Teresa Nist revealed in a joint interview on “Good Morning America” on Friday that love alone wasn’t enough to keep their marriage together.
Palmer shared a photo with the couple shortly after the finale and had kind words for them.

“My heart will forever be with these two beautiful souls,” Palmer wrote. “I am forever grateful to have gotten to know Jerry and Teresa and to have been a small part of their journey.”
She added: “I learned a lot about life, love and family from watching and talking to them. I wish them and their families all the best.”

Turner earned several “bachelor’s” grades during his tenure. At 72, he not only became the show’s oldest star, but also the first Golden Bachelor to become engaged and married within a matter of months.

He got down on one knee and asked Nist to be his bride in Costa Rica, and the couple later married in a “golden wedding.” This was another milestone event for the series, as it was the first wedding to be broadcast live on television in 10 years.
Turner admitted on GMA that after “many heartfelt conversations,” they came to the mutual decision to “dissolve their marriage.”

Nist added, “We have received so much love and support from so many people who have watched ‘The Golden Bachelor,’ and how many people have expressed their gratitude to us for this film. “I don’t know if you told me it gave you great hope. We’re not hoping for anything,” he added. That changes for everyone. ”

The main reason for their separation appears to have been their inability to settle into a settled environment. While Nist is based in New Jersey, Turner calls Indiana “home.”
“We looked at a house in South Carolina, we looked at a house in New Jersey, we looked at one house after another, but we just couldn’t make a decision,” Nist said.
Turner added: “I still love this person. Without a doubt in my heart, I still love her. I support her every day.”
Nist agreed: “Yes, I still love him.”
