“Golden Bachelor” winner Teresa Nist is choosing to think positively, announcing her divorce from Jerry Turner three months after saying they were “divorcing.”
On Monday, Nist shared a famous quote from Dr. Seuss on Instagram. The quote says, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
The quote was accompanied by a long caption in which the reality TV star thanked her fans for their support during this difficult time.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has expressed love, support, and kindness to me. You are such amazing human beings,” Nist began her caption. “It means so much to me that you took the time to reach out to me, whether it be in person, by phone, text, or direct message. For those of you who are angry and don’t understand, find some understanding in your heart and try a little kindness, not just for me, but for the world and everyone you meet. Please try it.”
