Howie Schwab, host of ESPN’s ‘Stump the Schwab,” dead at 63

Howie Schwab, a former ESPN investigative genius who shot to fame on the popular trivia show “Stamp the Schwab,” has died.He was only 63 years old, according to new york post.

Vitale said in a separate post that he was informed of the news by Schwab’s wife, Susie.

According to the report, Schwab joined ESPN in 1987 as a researcher and eventually had the opportunity to become a coordinating producer on shows such as “SportsCenter” and “Outside the Lines.”

From 2004 to 2006, Schwab hosted a popular show called “Stamp the Schwab,” where he faced off against sports fans in trivia contests. When the program was eventually discontinued, his record was 64-16.
