There was physical confrontation when climate change protesters stormed the stage at a gala honoring Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Murkowski was speaking at the Bryce Harlow Foundation awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
Suddenly, a dozen climate change activists burst onto the stage. Protesters against climate change were repulsed by people on stage. Video shows protesters falling off the stage. Murkowski is seen slowly walking away as a physical confrontation ensues.
The protesters are part of a group called Climate Defiance, which warns of the climate crisis.
