Morgan Wallen breaks silence about arrest for chair-throwing fiasco

Country music star Morgan Wallen has broken his silence on his arrest for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville, Tennessee.

On Friday, about two weeks after his arrest, Warren posted a message on the X social media platform.

“I didn’t feel it was appropriate to check in publicly until I made peace with some people. I have consulted with the good people of the Nashville Police Department, my family, and the Chief. “I am not proud of my actions, but I accept “responsibility,” Warren said. I have written. “I have the utmost respect for the police officers who work every day to keep us all safe.”

Wallen assured fans that the One Night at a Time tour will continue as scheduled and that there are “no changes.”

Warren began his One Night at a Time Tour on April 4th in Indianapolis. He will open for the likes of Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith and Lauren Watkins and will perform across the country.

Chief’s is the bar where the chair-throwing incident occurred and is owned by country music star Eric Church.

Warren, 30, was arrested around 11 p.m. on April 7 and charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.

The “Wasted on You” singer allegedly threw a chair off the roof of Chief’s Bar. The chair reportedly hit the ground about 3 feet away from where two Metro Nashville Police Department officers were standing on Broadway.

Warren was arrested on a warrant at 12:36 a.m. and released at 3:29 a.m. The singer’s bail was listed at $15,250.

Warren is scheduled to make his first court appearance on May 3, and a concert is scheduled for later that evening at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
