At least 1,200 people have been killed and more than 200 taken prisoner in Hamas’ onslaught against Israel. Goldberg-Polin, then 23 years old, was abducted from the Nova Music Festival.

In the video released, it can be seen that the hostage’s left arm is missing.

According to a young woman who has now been released and gave a statement to the press, she was in the bunker with him during the Hamas onslaught and he helped throw a grenade before her arm was blown off below the elbow. That’s what it means.

In the latest video, Goldberg-Pollin speaks to the camera while sitting in a chair. He identified himself, stating his date of birth and the names of his parents, while occasionally gesturing to his injured arm.

In a statement, he explained that he had been there for “almost 200 days.”

In the video, Goldberg-Polin’s hair is cut short and multiple wounds can be seen on her body.

Like other Israeli hostages featured in Hamas propaganda films, terrorists appear to have forced Goldberg-Polin to denounce Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in the film.

In the video, Goldberg-Pollin then said Israeli government ministers were having a holiday dinner with their families, ostensibly beginning Monday night, when family meals are a tradition. It is an allusion to the Jewish holiday of Passover.

Goldberg-Pollin said he hoped he could offer some comfort to the public and ended the video by imploring his family to stand strong for him.

Two days before Hamas released the video, the Biden administration contacted the terrorists and obtained the video. Goldberg-Pollin’s family has also been informed about the video.

The Goldberg-Polin family called for the early release of their son and other hostages still being held in Gaza after the video was released.

“Watching the video of Harsh today is overwhelming. We were relieved to see him alive, but not only his health and well-being, but also all the other hostages and all that is suffering in this area. We’re also concerned about people’s health,” said parents Rachel Goldberg Pollin and John Pollin. in a video statement.

The FBI’s Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell is currently actively examining the footage for new information and clues regarding Goldberg Pollin’s specific location.

The words “Bring Back Hersh” can be seen on banners and murals across Jerusalem, and his parents, Rachel and Jonathan, frequently meet with U.S. officials in Washington to advocate for relief for the prisoners.
