As some people in Israel prepare to build the third Jewish Temple and the possibility of the sacrifice of the Red Heifer looms, many are wondering what will change and what will happen to the Ark of the Covenant. I’m wondering if I can find it.
The Ark of the Covenant is where the Ten Commandments are kept, and Glenn Beck previously believed they would never be found.
“Is that important for rebuilding the temple?” he asked Bill Cloud, founder of Shoreshim Ministries. “There is no historical precedent for building a temple and not having an ark.” “Yes,” he told me.
“But,” he continues, “there is a prophecy that speaks of how the glory of the later house will be greater than the glory of the first house, referring to the house of Solomon that had the Ark of the Covenant. .”
Some people in Israel not only want to build a temple on the Temple Mount, they also want to find the Ark of the Covenant.
According to Cloud, “There are many legends about what happened to the Ark of the Covenant.”
“Some say it went to Ethiopia, but I don’t believe it. Some say Jeremiah hid it on Mount Nebo in Jordan. Some say it went to Ethiopia, outside the old city where it was buried. “And a significant number of people, especially those who are close to the idea of rebuilding the Temple, believe that it is buried somewhere beneath the Temple Mount,” Cloud explains.
“It’s not that big of a secret. To be honest, it’s all over the internet,” he added.
