Carolina’s No. 1 center had another quietly strong game. He scored the final winning goal with what should have been a harmless wrist shot, beating Ilya Sorokin cleanly.

3. Brock Nelson

After a quiet first two games of the series, Nelson and the rest of the lineup finally made an impact.

Nelson scored his first postseason goal late in the second period and was a regular in the offensive zone on a night when the Islanders needed him.
