“The Sheriff’s Office considers Minto a voluntarily-disappeared juvenile who is ‘at risk’ due to previous reported suicide threats,” they added, but did not elaborate. There wasn’t.

Minto was last seen by his mother around 10 p.m. Sunday, and authorities said he fled the house with a suitcase “sometime during the night or early morning.”

“It is unclear how Mr. Minto left the area as he did not have access to a vehicle or phone,” the sheriff’s office said.

“Deputies in Marin County have registered Minto with the Missing and Unidentified Persons System (MUPS) and sent All Points bulletin flyers with Minto’s description and photo to surrounding law enforcement agencies,” the sheriff said. the office said.

“Detectives from both police departments, in conjunction with the San Francisco Police Department, attempted to locate the mint, but were unable to locate it.”

Minto’s father, Stewart Butterfield, co-founded the messaging app Slack in 2013, but left the company after Salesforce acquired the platform in 2021 for $28 billion.
