Do Americans support the government’s TikTok ban?

42% of Americans support the US government’s ban on TikTok. According to new research.

This survey was conducted just before President Biden officially signs the billThis gives TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, nine months to arrange a sale of the platform or face a ban in the United States.

Only one in four respondents (25%) said they would be affected by the bill’s passage, and 45% said it would not be affected at all.

In fact, 39% say the TikTok ban would have “no effect” on them, and well over half (58%) report not using the app at all.

Among parents surveyed, 47% expressed concerns about their children using TikTok, and 21% said they were “very” concerned about their children potentially using the app. .
