HANNITY: Well, typically when a report is 300 pages or more, you get a lot of information. Let’s look at some basics.
Jordan: Oh, sure. First of all, Alvin Bragg bragged about it — I mean, bragged about the idea that he sued President Trump or went after President Trump hundreds of times during the campaign.
But once I took office, I realized there was no real case here. He understands what the Department of Justice knew when it didn’t file a lawsuit. He noticed when the Federal Election Commission didn’t file a case, and even what he noticed when his predecessor in the Manhattan DA’s office, Cy Vance, didn’t file a case.
But working for him is Assistant Attorney General Mark Pomerantz, who volunteered to push the case and is working because he said he had to go after Mr. Trump. He started working for Alvin Bragg simply to go after Trump, but it was he who convinced Alvin Bragg to do so, not while he was an assistant prosecutor, but after he resigned and threw a tantrum. , only after a media salvo and, most importantly, a writing career. This book details everything about how he tried to capture the president from the beginning. That’s what led Alvin Bragg to do so openly, and Donald Trump’s announcement that he was going to run for president is what led Alvin Bragg to file this ridiculous lawsuit.

HANNITY: Why did this guy leave his job and go to the New York state prosecutor’s office to give opening arguments and work on this case? Why would he abandon his great work?
Jordan: It’s the same reason Pomerantz decided to work for free. They had a desire for revenge. They had an agenda targeting President Trump. Colangelo at the Justice Department went to the prosecutor’s office to go after President Trump, and excuse me, Mark Pomerantz is doing the same thing. It was all about getting Trump.
In fact, they said they could put Michael Cohen in as a star witness. So, probably one of the things that bothers me the most about this case right now is that there is a gag order placed on President Trump, the former president, current Republican presidential candidate, and likely the next president. It’s a fact. I sure hope so, but he’s not allowed to speak.
But what about Michael Cohen? You know, a convicted perjurer, a guy who came before Congress and lied six times in one Congressional hearing, he’s allowed to say whatever he wants, but President Trump is not going to let this trial stand. This obviously partisan judge who is under a gag order from the public and every Democrat you can think of whose daughter worked for?
This is – this is very unfair. It’s all driven by politics and the whole plan here is to keep Biden in the basement. Biden has nothing to say, so lock Biden in the basement and put Trump on trial. That’s what the Democrats are trying to do, that’s their entire plan. Because they know President Trump will win even if he can’t campaign, and that’s why they’re trying to keep him tied up.
