Texas Homeowner Opens Fire on Alleged Car Burglar

A carjacking suspect entered the hospital Tuesday morning before being shot and killed by a homeowner in San Antonio, Texas, just before 3:30 a.m.

KSAT report The homeowner thought someone was breaking into his car, so he went outside to investigate.

KENS5 I got it. When the homeowner came outside, he said there were two robbery suspects, and at some point the homeowner opened fire, striking one of the suspects.

The homeowner is believed to have fired “at least 14 shots.”

Shortly thereafter, the injured robbery suspect “entered the Baptist District Hospital in the 6400 block of Woodlake Parkway and collapsed.”

There were no other injuries in the incident.
