Charles Barkley criticized the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday after they were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in their playoff series.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Guidi and Jaylen Williams each scored at least 20 points as Oklahoma City won 106-85. This is the first time the Thunder have won a playoff series since reaching the NBA Finals in 2016.

As NBA fans joke, the Pelicans will be vacationing in Cancun, Mexico. However, Barkley claimed on TNT that the Pelicans could do much worse because the team played so badly in the series loss to Oklahoma City. The Basketball Hall of Famer said they are headed to Galveston, Texas.
“Chuck, where are they going?” Shaquille O’Neal asked.

“Galveston,” Barkley answered, and Shaq burst out laughing. “That dirty water. We’re not even going to send them to Cancun. We’re going to send them to Galveston, where that dirty water is washing up on the shore. You think you’re on the beach. I did.
“We’re not going to send you guys to Cancun. Quit, guys. Get off to Galveston. Hey, they didn’t even try, dude. We’re gonna give them a ticket to the beach.” We send them to Galveston, Texas, where there’s dirty water washing up on the shore that they can’t even get into. ”
