Three Louisiana police officers were shot and wounded Sunday in a standoff with a man suspected of fatally shooting three other people over the past week, authorities said.

Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley said the injured officers were taken to a hospital Sunday morning after being shot at a home in Kenner, about 15 miles west of New Orleans. Their conditions were not immediately known.
SWAT team members were still outside the home Sunday afternoon, the Times-Picayune and New Orleans Advocate reported. No arrests were announced.

Kenner Police Department spokesman Lt. Michael Cunningham said the man who shot and killed police officers was wanted in a shooting that left two people injured on Sunday. He said the man is also the suspect in Tuesday’s robbery and shooting that left a man in critical condition.
