“Good evening, everyone. I’m Colin Jost, and I’m here to give you the Republican answer,” Jost said jokingly. “To be honest, we don’t have much time. I’m juror number five in a big trial, so I have to go back to New York. Trump’s lawyers took one look at me and said, ‘He must be on our side. “said.”
Mr. Jost not only took aim at Mr. Biden, but also media outlets such as the New York Times and Fox News.
The comedian poked fun at Biden’s age after showing a clip of Jost working as a junior reporter in high school on screen.
“President Biden can’t do that because this technology wasn’t invented when he was in high school,” Jost quipped. “That’s really not fair.”
Biden also attacked Trump several times during his speech, once calling him a “six-year-old.”
“I’ve been working really hard since the State of the Union. But Donald has been having some tough days lately. You might call it ‘wild weather,'” Biden said before Trump’s 2016 election. He was referring to Stormy Daniels, who claims she was paid to remain silent about her affair with Daniels.
Mr. Trump is in court again this week for his hush money trial in New York, where he is accused of 34 charges related to reimbursements made to former fixer Michael Cohen as payments to Mr. Daniels. He is charged with falsifying business records.
