Former WWE star Natalie Eva Marie, known simply as Eva Marie in the wrestling world, thanked PETA in a recent interview for explaining why she started hunting.
Former sumo wrestler appears on the cover hook and barrel magazine For the latest version. She said her godfather loved to hunt, but when she was younger he was too busy playing team sports to get into it.

While discussing harvesting his own meat, he told the magazine that he became interested in hunting after watching a PETA documentary about factory farming.
“Shout out to PETA because you guys made me a hunter,” she said. “Thank you. You’ve done the hard work of introducing me to factory farming… So now I’m going to hunt my own meat. I should know where my meat comes from. ”
But she mainly pointed to the nutrition that game meat provides.
“One of the reasons was obviously food.[My husband Jonathan Coyle]is very interested in nutrition and health and wellness. And watching ‘Total Divas’ and things like that inspired my journey. Those of you who have followed me know that I truly believe that health is wealth.”

“If I’m not healthy, I don’t have anything. I don’t care. I can be rich and have everything that makes me happy. But if I’m not healthy, I’m done.”
She added that she believes hunting is one of the things humans are “supposed to do.”
“Hunting makes you appreciate food more, and we try to avoid producing waste from the wild animals we hunt,” she said. “When you go out and see these beautiful, majestic animals in person, it’s incredibly moving.
