Early Tuesday morning, anti-Israel demonstrators at a Columbia University encampment took over the administration building.

“Student organizers call on everyone to come to Colombia tonight and protect the encampment following the regime’s threat this morning,” the group wrote in a post on its channel.

Protesters were captured on video holding banners reading “Intifada” from the windows of buildings as anti-Israel protesters’ voices could be heard. chanting“Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, Palestine. From the river to the sea…”

The occupation of Hamilton Hall by pro-Palestinian protesters comes after the university announced it would suspend students after asking anti-Israel protesters in advance to leave by 2 p.m. Ta.
The first encampment began on April 17th on the Columbia University campus. The next day, several students were suspended and hundreds of protesters who took part in the encampment were arrested.

Columbia University removed the original encampment, but later returned to encampment.
Since the camp began at Columbia University, camps have also been set up at the University of California, Los Angeles, Yale University, Harvard University, George Washington University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Breitbart News reached out to Columbia University for a statement but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
