A “vulnerable” Duchess Kate and Prince William will not meet Prince Harry during his short visit to London next week, according to reports.
The Duke of Sussex is preparing to return to London on May 8th for the first time since visiting to meet King Charles following his cancer diagnosis in February.
It will be Prince Harry’s first trip to his hometown since learning his sister-in-law had been diagnosed with cancer last month.
And while this trip could be a golden opportunity for a royal reconciliation, it appears the royal family has no interest in repairing the bridge.
A friend of the couple said, “Both sides now clearly understand each other’s positions.” Daily Beast. “William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry’s memoirs” [Spare]”

The newspaper has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.
Another source told the magazine that Prince William, the heir to the throne, has no interest in meeting his brother, but has no doubts about reuniting with his father, King Charles.
“[Harry is] He’s just another guy who sold his story to newspapers,” the source added. “The message, ‘Get well soon,’ is neither here nor there. But the whole situation no longer takes an enormous amount of their mental energy.”
“William and Kate have accepted that and moved on. Cancers put things in perspective. William respects his father’s desire to reconcile with his son, but he is now removed from the stressful situation. We are focused on protecting our families,” the source added.
But last month, Charles I can’t meet you because I’m “too busy” along with his youngest son.
Prince Harry will reportedly check into a hotel room during his trip to the UK next week after the royal family did not offer him one of his many accommodations.
This isn’t the first time the father-of-two has made a mad dash to London and stayed in a hotel. That’s what I chose to do during my blink-and-you-miss trip in February.
Furthermore, officials at Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have not confirmed. There are signs that the royal family will be attending next week’s event.
The trip is also expected to be a solo adventure for Prince Harry, as his wife and children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are expected to remain at home.
However, the Sussexes are due to leave for Nigeria later this month.
