Luton v Everton: Premier League – live | Premier League

Calvert-Lewin sidefoots it straight down the middle. Kaminski got a bit of his left boot to the ball, but couldn’t keep it out.

23 mins: The referee is convinced. It’s pretty hard to argue with it, that kind of nonsense is not allowed.

important events

28 minutes: Luton’s best moment of the match! Doughty crosses in from the left, Morris at the far post decides to kick it back rather than aim for goal, and… well, that’s where the game ends. But it was good while it lasted.

share

goal! Luton 0-1 Everton (Calvert-Lewin, 24 minutes)

Calvert-Lewin gets it done with a side foot Straight down the middle. Kaminsky was hit by the ball on his left boot, but he was unable to prevent it.

share

23 minutes: Ashley Young had the ball, but just as he was about to take a penalty, he gave it to Calvert-Lewin and ran away!

share

Penalty for Everton!

23 minutes: The referee is also satisfied. It is quite difficult to refute it, such nonsense is not allowed.

share

22 minutes: This is especially frustrating because the ball didn’t come close to either of them. Although of course it might have been closer to Branthwaite if he had been allowed to run towards it.

Update date and time

22 minutes: It was a correct bearhug and the referee was sent to the screen to see it.

share

21 minutes: VAR is looking at another potential issue – Everton won a corner and Branthwaite went down as it went in, with Mengi in his arms.

share

19 minutes: Everton threaten again – McNeil’s cross is deflected by a defender before Kaminski pushes the ball away and Garner’s shot from the edge of the area is blocked.

share

18 minutes: For Everton, Garner delivered a beautifully stiff, curled cross that was headed in by a defender.

share

16 minutes: There is no penalty. Mengi didn’t make much contact with either the ball or the players.

share

15 minutes: Dwight McNeil collapses inside the Luton penalty area as Mengi attempts to flick the ball away. The referee is not impressed, but VAR is paying attention.

Update date and time

12 minutes: It was a good start for Luton, who were a little more aggressive in attacking than their opponents. A recent incident took things a little too far when Ashley Young fell to the floor as Carlton Morris raced toward goal, prompting the referee to blow his whistle.

share

9 minutes: Chong has been popping up all over the place and is now wedged just to the right of the center of Everton’s half before being brought down by Garner. That’s a reservation.

share

5 minutes: Tarkowski tried to pass the ball back to Pickford, but Chung nipped in and pushed the ball away, causing it to go down. If Pickford brought him down it would be a penalty, but probably not a red card as the ball was heading out of play. But he didn’t.

share

4 minutes: Everton wears an all-grey color scheme. It’s hard to take inspiration from gray teams. Or anything gray. I like gray herons.

Update date and time

2 minutes: Chong has several chances to cross. The first shot is sent low and hits the defender. The second one is sent high and straight towards the defender.

share

1 minute: Beep beep! Luton start the match.

share

“Created by Ashley Young “I think he has at least 700 appearances for all clubs and at least 500 league appearances,” wrote Luke Nicholas. That’s exactly right. For this player, he has played 650 league games, not 450.

Update date and time

I’m worried that this might happen It’s one of those games that is much more exciting in perspective than in reality. I was looking forward to it because I really like both teams and there’s something about it and it’s in the nature of football fans to be infinitely optimistic. But will one team be crippled by the pressure and the other team unconcerned by the lack of pressure?

Tom Lockyer is chatting with us. He seemed very cheerful and relaxed and said, “If I can help them in any way, I would like to be a little more involved now.” Also:

It’s a big game. Let’s not hold back tonight. The person in charge has just finished speaking. He probably would have taken this position at the beginning of the season and entered the season. I would be happy if the fans thought so too. Everton are safe now and we hope they are on the beach. The only thing we can hope for is that today it will probably mean more to us – we will run faster and fight harder. But with Sean Dyche’s team, that’s par for the course for them.

share

Created by Ashley Young Today marks his 450th appearance for the club, a pretty good result considering he’s had several seasons marred by serious injuries. “Our attitude going into this game hasn’t changed at all. We want to win and we want the three points, even if it’s not a relegation battle,” he said.

Luton’s Thomas Kaminski speaks to Skye. He says almost exactly what you would say. The goals are clear and it is very clear what we have to do to put pressure on the other teams. ”
