Cruz calls Greene’s motion to vacate speakership ‘silly’

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz calls Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) attempt to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) from the speakership “stupid.” criticized it as having a “severely counterproductive effect” and made a phone call. Johnson is a “strong conservative”.
