An autism center worker has been charged with repeatedly assaulting a 3-year-old boy.

Ariana Williams, 25, was charged with intentional injury to a child after she was caught on camera suddenly grabbing the child by the shoulder and shoving him to the ground as they walked outside the Sunrise Autism Center in Burnsville, Minnesota. He was indicted.
The video shows the child screaming as he is thrown to the ground again, landing on his back.
Williams lifted the boy into the air with both hands and forcefully threw him to the ground.
The incident occurred on the first day Williams was allowed to be with the children without supervision, according to the indictment.
Sunrise Autism Center said the teacher was immediately fired and police were called.
Investigators allege that after Williams was fired, he sent a text message to a co-worker that read: The start of the week was really bad. ”
Farhiyah told reporters that her son was diagnosed with autism last year and enrolled him in a speech and occupational therapy center.
He had only been in attendance for a week before the assault occurred, she added.
Sunrise Autism Center said in a statement that its team is “cooperating with the investigation and continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients.”
Mr. Williams is scheduled to appear in court on June 20th.th.
