The first round of the 2023 NHL Playoffs did not go as planned for the highly anticipated Boston Bruins.
After going up 3-1 in the series, the trailing Florida Panthers bounced back with a win for the first time in seven games.
This year, Jeremy Swayman and the Boston Bruins will be hoping to reverse last season’s unfortunate fortunes as they face the Panthers in a rematch of last year’s intense matchup.
So far they are doing very well. In Game 1, Boston defeated Florida 5-1.
But as fans may remember, Jim Montgomery’s team is off to a strong start in 2023.
That’s where it comes into play.
Boston will call TD Garden home for Games 3 and 4 (and perhaps Game 6 of the series) and last-minute tickets are still available.

About Bruins vs. Panthers
Throughout the regular season, the Bruins got their revenge by dominating the Panthers in all four games.
And while they performed well in Game 1 of the series, coach Jim Montgomery thinks they can do even better.
“I thought our effort was good,” he said. “I thought we were physical. I don’t think our execution was anywhere close to where it needed to be.”
