McLemore Boys has released a new cookbook with all the tips and tricks for eating the best grill-out this summer.
John McLemore Sr. and John McLemore II joined “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning to discuss their new cookbook, “Gather & Grill.”
The father-son duo, known for their incredible grilling skills and as the founding family of Masterbilt, a manufacturer of digital grills and smokers, said the book includes 125 family recipes.

“We have all the recipes here from our family,” John McLemore Sr. said.
The two often visit the National Summer Concert Series each year and grill for show attendees.

Recipes are available everywhere, [but] I love that they send me home with barbecue every Friday after the concert,” McLemore Sr. said.

The two said they love grilling together at home.
McLemore II remembers his father “putting a towel over his shoulders. [is] Cooking for family and friends. ”
“One of the great things about this is that a lot of these recipes are actually recipes that my family would bring to family gatherings.”
This cookbook features grilling recipes in nine categories, from breakfast to leftovers, meat to tips, tricks, and more.

“One of the great things about this is that a lot of these recipes are actually recipes that my family brings to family gatherings,” McLemore II said.
He said some of the recipes include his family’s baked beans, buffalo dip casserole and French toast.
McLemore II added that working on the cookbook with his father was a “surreal” experience.

“I don’t know if I was still shocked that that name was in the book,” he says.

The two also announced that they will be returning to the 2024 National Summer Concert Series in Fox Square to cook great meals for others all summer long.
