U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOC) hosts annual Special Operations Forces (SOF) Week in Tampa, Florida, Starting from Tuesday’s rehearsal, military exercises will be held in front of the audience.
In a small-scale demonstration, military personnel from 10 countries showcased the capabilities of some of the best technology available to military personnel overseas.
“This is just to show the local community and the people who want it what the capabilities of USSOF are,” Army Warrant Officer Josh Beatty told FOX News Digital. Beatty served in the U.S. military for 24 years, and the demonstrations were also livestreamed, he said.

“We demonstrated members of all SOF organizations within the Department of Defense, and then many partner nations joined us to highlight how we work with partners around the world. ,” he said.
Swedish and U.S. SEALs teamed up to test the use of tactical submersible vehicles in front of local residents in downtown Tampa. In addition to Sweden, servicemen and military personnel from Chile, the Dominican Republic, Slovenia and other countries gathered this week to showcase their special operations and tactical military proficiency.
“USSOF is looking for international participants,” Beatty said. “They were here and we did some training with them to make sure everyone was on the same page and it looked good there.”

Beatty said training ahead of the public demonstration began last week and lasted four to five days.
Beatty’s crew included Japanese and Jordanian military personnel. During the mock attack and counterattack, armed militia used GMV 1.1 and MRZR vehicles to violently cross the bridge connecting Harbor Island and Channelside, firing blanks at soldiers in the water.
