A 16-year-old boy in New York City was shot in the head and killed in a brazen daylight attack by a gunman on a bicycle. Police officials said the incident may have been school-related.

The shooting occurred across the street from Chelsea Career Technical Education High School when a suspect on a Citi Bike drove by with a firearm.
Brown, who was also shot twice in the leg, was later identified as a student at nearby Broome Street Academy Charter High School.
The Crown Heights boy was pronounced dead after being rushed to Bellevue Hospital, police said.
It is unclear at this time whether Brown was the intended target, but law enforcement sources told the show that the gruesome murder may be related to a fight between two groups of girls that had occurred earlier in the day. he said.
