The American Cancer Society recently released gloomy numbers, showing that the number of new cancer cases in the United States is expected to surpass the 2 million mark for the first time.
Although medical advances have steadily reduced cancer deaths over the past 30 years, an increase in the number of cases of many common cancers is putting this progression at risk. More than 313,000 new breast cancer cases are predicted to occur in 2024.
Join us for The Hill’s Cancer Summit. Government officials, lawmakers, patient advocates, physicians and scientists will discuss how to accelerate critical research and equity with the goal of ending cancer.
