ESPN Is On That Nonsense Again Calling The WNBA ‘The Best League In The World,’ Ignores ‘The Caitlin Clark Effect’

The best league in the world…ha!

Ah, I understand. Corporate marketing departments have a job to do, but can’t they be at least a little bit more realistic?

Clearly, the four-letter network is understandably excited to carry the WNBA. There’s a ton of hype around the league, largely due to the “Caitlin Clark Effect.” I’ve never seen anything like this before. We all went from making fun of the WNBA to being like, “Well, I guess I’ll watch it for Kaitlyn’s sake.” Clark was selected by the Indiana Fever. 1st place nomination in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

But just like Kendrick was with him. “Different from us” ESPN declares the WNBA the “best league in the world,” and they taint their product with flat-out lies.

Lol… So how do you figure that out?

You want to know how much this bothers me… We are currently dealing with severe weather in Florida (tornado warnings, etc.) and I’m pissed off at the fact that ESPN is calling out the WNBA here… *cringes* … “The best league in the world.”

I have nothing against the WNBA. She’ll probably watch a game or two of Caitlin’s. I might watch a few of her daughter’s games. kelsey plum But the best league in the world?!
