Former KY prosecutor accused of trading favors for meth and sex pleads guilty

A former eastern Kentucky prosecutor pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges accusing him of offering favors to criminal defendants in exchange for methamphetamine and sexual favors.

Scott Blair, 51, pleaded guilty to honest services wire fraud, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported. Mr. Blair resigned as Perry County’s federal prosecutor after his arrest last month. The federal charges accuse him of depriving Perry County residents of honest services.

The criminal complaint alleges that starting in 2020, the suspect solicited sex and methamphetamine from the people facing criminal charges and then took actions to assist them.
