Phil Mickelson catches a stray amid Brandel Chamblee-Anthony Kim NSFW war

When Brandel Chamblee made a public U-turn on his contract with the PGA Tour and Saudi PIF, it was a moment that couldn’t be ignored. Anthony Kim addressed him using very adult language.

But in typical Chamblee fashion, he responded in his own way. He also landed a jab against Phil Mickelson.

A Golf Channel analyst responded to Kim’s tweet: Long rant.

“This is as inaccurate as many of Mickelson’s impulses, and the sad irony of calling someone a female body part for the purpose of denigrating young people after you ask for advice on how to raise your daughter.” As inaccurate as two tweets,” Chamblee wrote. “It’s clear you weren’t handicapped because of your frivolous opinions.”

Mickelson’s jab came out of nowhere. But he didn’t stop there, he continued to explain why he changed his position.

“As for your criticism of me for saying the deal with Saudi Arabia is the best deal for golf right now, that’s something I said recently, because I don’t think Saudi Arabia will turn away from the game. “and will continue to do so because it poses a threat of poaching and dilutes the accomplishments of the PGA Tour,” Chamblee continued.

“The sad reality is that you and your compatriots on the LIV Tour are willingly doing business with a murderous dictator for profit in order to cover up his atrocities, and the golf world has been forced to act in a way that MBS, PIF , we had to think about how to mitigate the impact of LIV “in the otherwise benevolent and merit-based world of professional golf,” he wrote.

The 61-year-old concluded his response to Kim by digging a little deeper into his play. Since Kim returned to the pros in March, he hasn’t played great golf. He’s near the bottom of the leaderboard in almost every event.

“Now, why don’t you go back to what you used to do best: amaze the world with your talent,” Chamblee replied, before getting a little royal. “I don’t like him LIV for many reasons, but your golf was certainly fun and I would love to see you play like the golfer you used to be.”

However, Kim didn’t give Chamblee the last word. On Saturday morning, he had another response to the analyst’s lengthy tweet.

His captions were short and sweet, but unlike Chamblee, there’s no option to post lengthy Twitter rants directly on the app. Kim included a note with a little more detail about his story and why he supports what he originally wrote.

Chamblee has yet to respond to this latest message from Kim.
