Lea Michele reveals second baby’s gender in sweet Mother’s Day post

She is full of joy!

Lea Michele revealed the gender of her and husband Zandy Reich’s second child on social media on Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day.

“Today is the most beautiful Mother’s Day as I held my son who made me a mom and then my daughter. 💕💐,” the 37-year-old “Glee” alum wrote. Instagram post.

The heartwarming snap showed the Funny Girl star looking down at her blossoming baby bump, visible beneath an unbuttoned white shirt.

In a subtle hint to the news, the pregnant actress is seen holding a bouquet of baby pink roses.

The Emmy nominee later posted an adorable snap of her three-year-old son Ever on her Instagram Story.

“And to my sweet son who made me a mom…” she captioned a photo of herself holding her firstborn.

Back in March, Michelle revealed she was pregnant with her second child with husband Zandy Reich.

Michelle and Reich tied the knot in 2019 in a ceremony in California after two years of dating. The singer rocked a strapless Monique Lhuillier dress for the occasion.

The duo’s new bundle of joy joins big brother Ever, whom the couple welcomed in August 2020 after a “very intense and very scary” pregnancy.

The toddler was hospitalized several times last year with “scary” health issues.

In March 2023, Michelle spoke about her son’s health issues while apologizing to fans for missing the Broadway musical Funny Girl.

“I’m so sorry, but unfortunately I have to leave @funnygirlbway today,” she captioned a photo of her with her hand on Ever’s arm at the time. “We’re in the hospital with my son, and I need to be here because he’s dealing with a horrible health issue.”

The following month, Ever was hospitalized for a second time due to undisclosed health issues.

“This difficult time really teaches us what’s important in life and how much we should be grateful for,” Michele wrote at the time. “It’s difficult to say the least, but my son is such a champion so it’s okay. But it still hurts.”

Later that month, Michele said her son was “doing well” but had a “long road” to recovery.
