Two victims were killed and four others were injured in a shooting at an Atlanta nightclub early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Atlanta Police say officers responded just before 2:30 a.m. to shots fired at the Eleven 45 Lounge, 2110 Peachtree Road NW in Buckhead.
Of the six victims who suffered gunshot wounds, paramedics pronounced two dead at the scene. Police said the other four victims were rushed to local hospitals and are expected to survive.
Police said the victims included three men and three women in their 20s to 30s. FOX5 Atlanta reported. The deceased victims included one man and one woman.

Detectives believe a “physical dispute” escalated into a shooting at the club.

“While the investigation is ongoing, please note that this is not a random act,” police said in a news release. “The result of the shooting was an escalation of a dispute that appeared to have occurred between individuals/parties within the facility.”

No arrests have been made and no information about the suspect in the fatal shooting has been released.

The club issued a statement on social media saying it would continue to close its doors on Sunday in cooperation with law enforcement.

The statement reads in part, “We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster. We also extend our deepest sympathies to those who suffered loss and injury and their families.” “The safety and health of our customers and staff is always our top priority.”
