Evangelist and best-selling author Michael Youssef recently debunked common myths about heaven and highlighted important truths about life after death that he feels the church lacks understanding of. Lewis, who argued that an interest in heaven draws a person away from earthly life, and that the most effective people in this world are those who have a heavenly heart.
“Think about it. My whole motivation for living and serving in the ministry is to be with Jesus and hear from his mouth, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” he said.
