Two Missouri women vacationing in Florida were jailed on May 6 after a fight broke out over a golf cart and Disney World tickets, Fox News reported.
Katherine Northrup, 31, and Gina Danforth, 28, were taken into custody on Monday, May 6, after an alleged altercation. The fight, which reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over a golf cart and Disney World tickets, led to police being called to the scene just before 11:30 a.m. So, according to On Fox News. Both women were arrested and charged with assault. They were booked into the Sumter County Detention Center and later released on $1,000 bail each.

An arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital alleges Northrop became aggressive during the incident. She said Danforth spat in her face and she tried to walk away from him, she said. But Northrup claims Danforth grabbed her by the hair and held her down, leading to a physical confrontation in which she punched him. When officers arrived, both women reportedly admitted to fighting. Although there were multiple witnesses, police were unable to determine who started the altercation due to a lack of reliable testimony. Northrup suffered abrasions to his neck, elbow and abdomen and was evaluated by EMS at the scene. According to Fox News, Danforth said he felt “not feeling well” and asked to be taken to a local hospital.
