Ryan P. Delanty, of Manchester, Missouri, pleaded guilty Friday in Boone County to misdemeanor charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor and hazing, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend six months in prison followed by six months of house arrest. The verdict is set for May 24th.

“Mr. Ryan understands the gravity of the situation and is pleased that a resolution has been reached that avoids a trial,” said Stephanie Fortas, Delanty’s attorney.

Santulli had taken the fraternity pledge in October, but was found unresponsive due to alcohol intoxication. His blood alcohol level was 0.486, six times the legal limit, authorities said.

The fraternity branch was closed. Santuri’s relatives filed a civil lawsuit against the club and 23 members. The case was settled in 2022 for an unspecified amount.
