Game 5 at Madison Square Garden looked a little more favorable.
Things got tense between the Knicks and Pacers early in the second quarter after Donte DiVincenzo drew an offensive foul from Indiana’s Isaiah Jackson.
Less than a minute into the second point, the Pacers’ TJ McConnell was making a play when Jackson tried to set a screen, but ended up catching DiVincenzo high and hitting him on the floor. I slammed it.
Isaiah Hartenstein took exception to Jackson’s actions when he was called out for an illegal nomination and promptly slammed into Jackson’s face.
Hartenstein put his hands on Jackson’s beard and neck and tried to shove him away before officials separated the teams, despite teammate Alec Burks’ attempts to intervene.
