The family of Micah Miller, the wife of a pastor who shot himself in a North Carolina state park last month, has released text messages alleging abuse from the pastor years before Miller filed for divorce.
Miller’s sister, Sierra Frances, shared purported screenshots of messages sent by Pastor John Paul Miller of Solid Rock Church to his wife and her family, including one in which he said he was armed. It also included alleged threats.

The Robeson County Coroner’s Office ruled Micah Miller’s death a suicide due to a gunshot wound to the head.
Since Micah’s death, law enforcement has asked the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for assistance in investigating Micah’s suicide.
