‘I Dislike Humans a Lot’

Noting that the conflict at the heart of the film lies in the inability of the human and ape characters to trust each other and work together, Allen points out that he is on the side of the apes and against humanity. He admits, “I’m a team monkey,” he insists.

“Listen, I’m obviously a team person when I’m playing May, but I’m team monkey. I’m Freya’s team monkey,” she said after discussing her conflicts in the film.

“I mean, look at Earth. Oh, let’s go,” she said, as if realizing she was wandering into controversial territory with her anti-human remarks. “Look at what humans have done to the planet,” Teague interjected.

“Well, I hate humans,” cried Allen.

“You know, there’s this weird thing where you’re like, ‘No.’ I mean, sometimes you see humans gathered together and you think, ‘Oh, isn’t this nice?’ And then, ‘We Sometimes I think, ‘I absolutely hate it,'” she explained.

The film depicts humans becoming “feral” and living like animals, while apes, who long ago learned to speak, become the more dominant species on Earth in the future. The plot follows Allen’s character as he works to rescue humanity from its abject existence and restore it to supremacy.

The film was released on May 2nd and grossed $58.5 million domestically and $72.7 million overseas, totaling approximately $131 million. The film looks poised to recoup its $160 million budget in its first theatrical run.

kingdom It is the fourth film in the recent reboot of the original film and is being marketed as the first film in another trilogy in the series. The original series consisted of five of his films and was released from 1968 to 1973. This popular work also spawned two of his TV series, one live-action in 1974 and one animated series in 1975.
