Rory McIlroy’s estranged wife Erica Stoll was photographed on Wednesday in what appears to be her first public appearance since their divorce was announced on Tuesday.
In a photo obtained by the Daily MailStoll was seen heading to a Pilates class wearing a cropped T-shirt and leggings, without her engagement ring.
However, her wedding ring appeared to be “securely worn,” according to the report.
McIlroy and Stoll got engaged in Paris in 2015, a year after they first became romantically involved following the end of his engagement to tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki.
When asked for comment by the Daily Mail, Stoll, who married McIlroy in 2017, said “no.”
McIlroy filed for divorce in Florida on Monday, stating that his relationship with Stoll had “irretrievably broken down.”
The two have engaged in premarital sex and are seeking split custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Poppy.

“I’m sure you all saw a statement yesterday from Rory’s communications team specifically stating that he would not be commenting further about his personal life. So thank you for respecting his wishes,” the host said.
McIlroy’s team confirmed on Tuesday that a divorce had been filed and said: “He will have no further comment.” According to the Irish Independent.
The campaign also “underlined Rory’s desire to spend this difficult time as respectfully and amicably as possible,” according to the report.
When asked Asked by a reporter Wednesday, “What’s your energy level, how is it on a personal level?” McIlroy responded, “I’m ready to play this week.”
