Federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations raided Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year as part of an ongoing investigation.
“This video is very damaging to his case,” said Derrick Parker, a former New York City police “hip-hop cop” who investigated Combs’ role in the 1999 nightclub shooting. “This will hurt him deeply because it will lend credence to Ms. Ventura’s claims of abuse from him.”
He said he expected federal authorities to accelerate their case against Combs as a result.
