Ventura sued Combs in November, accusing her of physical and sexual abuse. However, she dropped her case the next day when the parties reached an out-of-court settlement.
Exclusively obtained shocking footage by CNNappears to corroborate a line in Ventura’s lawsuit accusing Combs of punching him in the face at the hotel.

“Mr. Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, blackening her eye,” the attorneys argued.
The man was drunk and passed out when she tried to sneak out, according to the complaint. But when he woke her up, he allegedly screamed at her again and followed her into the hallway, throwing her to the ground and slamming her vase of flowers onto her floor.

A Comms spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Legal experts have previously said Mr. Ventura’s settled lawsuit could come back to bite Mr. Combs.
She likely signed a non-disclosure agreement as part of the settlement, but it’s still possible that evidence in the case will be subpoenaed by prosecutors.

Federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations raided Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year as part of an ongoing investigation.
“This video is very damaging to his case,” said Derrick Parker, a former New York City police “hip-hop cop” who investigated Combs’ role in the 1999 nightclub shooting. “This will hurt him deeply because it will lend credence to Ms. Ventura’s claims of abuse from him.”

He said he expected federal authorities to accelerate their case against Combs as a result.
