Taylor Swift gave boyfriend Travis Kelsey a little advice before taking the stage in front of a crowd of thousands at Kelsey Jam on Saturday.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that the hitmaker told him to “just go out there and have fun.”
“You’d be stupid if you tried to copy what she does!” the 34-year-old joked on the red carpet ahead of the Jim Beam music festival.
More than 20,000 fans gathered at Azura Amphitheater in Kansas City, Missouri over the weekend. Kelsey Jam once every two years, It featured performances by Lil Wayne, Diplo, 2 Chainz and, of course, Kelce himself.

“In all my years, [Kansas City]life has never been better than it is right now,” Kelce told the crowd.
The burly tight end sang a similar tune while chatting with us before the show, praising the community’s “incredible” support.
“Every year it gets better and better and KC just keeps showing up,” he told Page Six on the red carpet.
Last year, Kelce hosted a music festival the same weekend as the NFL Draft in Kansas City.
The athlete admitted he was “a little nervous”, saying it wouldn’t have been as popular this time if there wasn’t an influx of people into the area.
“We didn’t know what the outcome was going to be, but sure enough everyone came and it’s so much fun to just go out and high-five and see the smiles,” he told us.
Swift, 34, was unable to attend the fun event due to his Elas Tour schedule, but Kelce’s closest friends showed up to cheer him on, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes. .
Luckily, the “Cruel Summer” singer and the record-breaking tight end spent most of the week together on a romantic getaway in Lake Como.
After Swift’s show in Paris last weekend, the lovebirds flew to northern Italy, where they stayed in a luxury private villa that cost $21,000 a night.

Later that week, Swift and Kelsea were spotted on a romantic boat ride before heading out to dinner at one of the city’s most popular restaurants.
While on a private boat, the pair were photographed kissing and cuddling in the back seat.
