President Joe Biden gave a sombre commencement address this weekend, characterizing America as a racist country that doesn’t love black people.
Biden delivered a commencement speech at Morehouse College in Atlanta on Sunday that appeared to characterize America in the harshest light in terms of race relations.
“You started college at the same time George Floyd was murdered,” Biden declared. “And a race reckoning has been made. It’s natural to wonder if the democracy you hear so much about actually works for you.”
What is democracy if black men are being killed in the streets? ” he wondered openly. “What is a democracy that leaves black communities behind and leaves a trail of broken promises? What is a democracy when you have to be 10 times better than everyone else to have a fair chance? Above all, as we’ve heard before, what does it mean to be a black man who loves his country, even if it doesn’t love him equally?
The crowd applauded him.

As Breitbart News reported on Sunday, students have been seen turning their backs on the president over his support for Israel.
At least three Morehouse alumni were shown in the photo with their backs turned, according to an X post by a pro-Trump super PAC. One of them wore a keffiyeh scarf in solidarity with the Palestinians.
A member of the press traveling with Biden confirmed seeing one of the students standing behind the ceremony with his back turned and his right fist raised. Poole said “several” graduates and faculty members wore keffiyeh scarves.
Biden called October’s Hamas attack on Israel “vicious” and mentioned “hostages” taken by the attack, but he focused more on the “humanitarian crisis in Gaza” and called for an “immediate ceasefire.” “They should speak up,” he told the students. I heard about it,” he said, referring to the pro-Palestinian protests that broke out on university campuses.
Biden also touched on the issue of voting rights during his speech and expressed his feelings. echoed In a subsequent speech at the NAACP in Detroit, he said:
