Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley revealed on Wednesday during a speech at the Hudson Institute that she plans to vote for former President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
“I will prioritize a president who supports our allies and holds our enemies accountable,” Haley said. Said “A president who will secure our borders; no more excuses; a president who supports capitalism and freedom; a president who understands that we need to reduce our debt, not increase it. I’ve made it clear many times that Trump was not perfect on these policies, but Biden has been a disaster. That’s why I’m voting for Trump.”
Haley added that what she said in her “suspension speech” remains unchanged.
“Mr. Trump would be wise to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me,” Haley added. “And don’t assume they’re just going to side with him. I sincerely hope they do.”

The former South Carolina governor withdrew from the Republican primary on March 6 after facing a series of losses.
Haley stopped short of endorsing Trump at the time, but acknowledged that she would be “likely to be the Republican nominee” when the GOP holds its convention in July.
Haley previously said electing Trump would be “suicide” for the United States, pointing to Trump’s legal problems.
