Britney Spears claims her jewelry was stolen: ‘It’s all gone’

Britney Spears claimed on social media on Sunday that she was the latest celebrity to be the victim of a burglary at her home.

“Y’all, seriously, all my jewelry got stolen,” the “Toxic” singer said. The allegations were made in a video posted to Instagram. It showed the opening and closing of a nearly empty jewelry box.

“See? There’s nothing there. Well, there’s the Virgin Mary, but… I’m scared. Everything’s gone. All the jewels are gone.”

Spears, 42, further claimed in the caption, “I can honestly tell all my jewelry was stolen…it’s hard to buy new stuff now because I’m scared it’ll all be gone.”

The “Oops! I Did It Again” singer claimed she buys “cheap and fake” jewelry as a precaution, but some of the more expensive items “were originally made from fake materials.” [her]. “

She concluded: “The baby cloth I’ve had since I was four is gone…it’s gotten so thin.”

However, a spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office exclusively confirmed to Page Six on Monday that they had “not received any calls regarding reports of a theft from Ms. Spears’ residence.”

We also reached out to a representative for the pop superstar for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Despite the alleged robbery, Spears posted two videos in which she appears to be in good spirits. One article claims she’s “lost 12 sizes.” And in another article She wants a tongue piercing.

However, this isn’t the first time the “Gimme More” singer has suspected being robbed.

Page Six exclusively reported in August 2021 that Spears had reported a theft to police at her Thousand Oaks, California, mansion, where she still resides.

“She called and said she wanted to report some sort of theft,” Capt. Eric Buschow, public information officer for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, told us at the time.

“Officers arrived and made contact with her security, who informed officers that Ms. Spears had decided she did not want to file a report at this time. The officers then left.”

Last month, sources told Page Six that Spears’ friends were concerned because she had reportedly spent her $60 million estate since being fired from her conservatorship.
