A 70-year-old man, the victim of a homicide in Deep River, Connecticut linked to Massachusetts serial stabbing suspect Jared Ravizza, has died from the stab wounds he sustained, a Connecticut State Police spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
The development comes as investigators are “still investigating” the relationship between Ravizza, a 26-year-old from Martha’s Vineyard who allegedly stabbed six people to death in Braintree and Plymouth on Saturday and was pursued by police on Cape Cod, and Bruce Feldman, a man from West Hartford, Connecticut, whose body was found earlier that day in a home in Deep River, a quiet town near the state’s coast.
“The victim, [a] “It’s a stabbing incident,” a Connecticut State Police spokesman said Wednesday, a day after authorities announced criminal charges were pending in the incident.
Julie Feldman is New York Post Julie Feldman, who identified herself as Bruce’s wife, told the paper, “This is absolutely shocking… We’ve been together for a very long time.” Fox News Digital called a number listed as Julie Feldman’s on Wednesday but there was no answer.

Connecticut State Police say they were first called to the scene Saturday afternoon to investigate the disturbance.
“Investigating officers learned the suspect approached a residence on Merriwold Lane, threw a shovel through the front window and then left,” state police said. “The victim identified the suspect as a familiar individual who had been staying in the Maritone Lane area. Officers further reported hearing an audible commotion at the Maritone Lane address prior to this incident.”
Police then went to the address of the second property where they found an adult male with “visible injuries” outside, who was later identified as Feldman, and pronounced deceased at the scene.
“During the initial investigation, officers received information indicating a second individual, who is no longer at the scene, had been at the scene earlier in the day,” police said. “Personal items belonging to Ravizza were found at the scene and witnesses provided a description matching that of Ravizza.”
Investigators say the case remains active, but noted following Ravizza’s arrest in Sandwich on Saturday that “the suspect in this investigation is in custody in Massachusetts and there is no actual threat to the public.”

Three years ago, Hartford-area radio station WRCH interviewed a man calling himself Bruce Feldman, who claimed to have invented a device he called the “Ultimate Leaf Lifter,” a rake that helps pick up leaves from the ground.
“I saw a neighbor trying to help a neighbor who is in a wheelchair put leaves in a bag without bending over. He was using two rakes and it was really hard,” Feldman told the station, explaining how the idea for the product came about. “It was inspired by salad tongs and ice tongs.”
A few weeks before Feldman’s death, a neighbor in Deep River told the New York Post that Ravizza first checked into a home there, purportedly for rent, on April 20. About a month later, Feldman showed up and said, “I’m not sure what to do.” [property] “Who was he staying with?” said neighbor Charlie Brashears.

“He made it very clear he had no money,” Brashears added. “Bruce said he was hoping his friend would let him stay for the rest of the month.”
According to the New York Post, police had been called in recent days about Feldman for trespassing, after neighbors said he was walking his dog in the neighborhood and sitting on people’s porches uninvited.
“[The women] “They said, ‘Hey, this is inappropriate, you need to leave,’ and they called the police to file a complaint,” Brashears said.
Things escalated on Saturday, when Ravizza allegedly threw a shovel onto the property of the women who had called police on Feldman, the New York Post reported, citing neighbors.

“It looked like a domestic violence response, and I was told they’d found a body,” Brashears said. “Two officers were there, but within 10 minutes it was chaos, seven or eight patrol cars were there.”
