The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said in a press release that a truck overturned early Wednesday morning on northbound U.S. 101 at the interchange for Interstate 880 in San Jose, California.
The messy situation happened just before 3 a.m., according to police.
Authorities told the driver Very Flexible Workers worked for hours to clean up the mess.

The large tractor-trailer remained on its side for hours as workers transferred the intact strawberries to a second truck that would transport them to their final destination, according to the CHP.

Video and photos from the scene showed tow trucks and loaders working to remove thousands of berries strewn along the highway on-ramps.
