Donald Trump Jr.: Sentencing Date ‘Election Interference’

The day of sentencing comes as a Manhattan jury finds former President Donald Trump guilty of all 34 charges in his business records trial, another form of election interference, Donald Trump Jr. said Thursday.

“The verdict comes 4 days before the Republican Convention…they’re not even trying to hide their interference in our election!!!!” he exclaimed.

Indeed, Judge Juan Marchan set the sentencing date just four days before the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Trump is expected to be formally nominated as the Republican presidential candidate. The convention will take place from July 15-18, and Trump’s sentence will be handed down at 10 a.m. Eastern time on July 11.

Others agree that the entire case, the verdict and the trial schedule are a form of election interference by the far-left waging a legal battle against Trump.
